Bugs of the World

The book I picked was Bugs of the World. This book is about the different types of bugs that live in all parts of the world. I chose this book because I have always been fascinated by bugs. One thing I learned was that the bullet ant sting is the most painful sting in the world. I always thought a tarantula hawks sting was the worst there could be. Another thing I also learned is that there is a cockroach that can be the size of you hand. It lives in Puerto Rico and lives in the trees and the treetops.

I usually don't pay attention when I read books, but this book really kept my attention when I was reading it. Another one of my favorite bugs I saw was the Bullet ant. This was one of my favorite bugs because it has the most powerful sting in the world and it also is so small so it is really cool that they have such a good defense mechanism against predators.

A Regret I have

I have a lot of regrets in my life, but the one I am going to talk about today is about joining the musical in 5th grade. I didn't wanna do it, but I did it anyways. Sadly I hated it and I ended up embarrassing myself on stage. This is an ongoing regret I have because I actually felt like crying on stage. On stage acting is not for me, acting on camera is more for me than anything else. I also hated the tryout and I also missed 2 days of school just to get embarrassed. This is probably one of my worst regrets Ive ever had out of many.

Nazi Propaganda

This piece of Nazi propaganda of trying to represent the population of Germany is for Adolf Hitler. The intended audience this poster was made was for the part of Germany that wasn't for Adolf Hitler. This helps people think differently because they could be worried or scared that they are out numbered and cannot fight back. This probably got a lot of Jews worried and scared because they know they they are out numbered and that they are mot likely gonna caught. This also doesn't just point to Jews, also to Jipsies and other cultures.

Celebrity I would like to hang with

I have the choice of hanging out with a certain celebrity or famous person dead or alive. I would like to hangout with Jackie Robinson. The reasons I would like to hang out with him is because he was a really good baseball player, in a really bad time for America. He was playing in the negro leagues, which was a spereate leauge for colored baseball players. He enventually broke the color barrier and went to the pros to play with other white men. It would be good to talk about the time he lived in and how it was to cope with abuse from the world. I would also be cool to play a game of catch with one of the games best players. He was a very inspiring person to many colored kids around America.

Super Bowl Commercials

I am personally not that big of a football fan, but of course I have to watch the Super Bowl. A lot of commercials caught my eye but the one that I really liked was the 84 lumber commercial. This commercial was about immigrants from Mexico traveling long ways to cross the border into the U.S.. It was a mother and a daughter. When they got to the border there was a huge wall separating them. Sadly the mom started to cry and the daughter gave her something she made for her to feel better. At the end they found a door that opened to the U.S.. This commercial in my opinion really spoke to me about problems that we are having in the U.S. right now. It developed a theme on how hard life is for immigrants putting there lives on the border.
