Album Review: 4 You're Eyez Only

            4 You're Eyez Only by J. Cole is his 9th album. For the second time, this album has zero features in it and manages to go platinum. This album isn't personally my favorite, but it isn't that bad. The only terrible is Foldin' Clothes which if u just listen to it, it would b terrible. J. Cole manages to combine lyrics and a great beat I'm his best song on the album Neighbors, which is inspired by when a S.W.A.T. Team raided his house. He also uses one of Bryson Tiller's beats in Deja Vu which combines good lyrics and a great melon beat to vibe too. He describes most of his life in his album more so then others he has created. He digs deep down more in his feelings which is a great way to attract people to listen to your music.

Lord of the Flies

            Lord of the Flies by William Golding is a classic novel about issues in our society. This story is about schoolboys from many different ages are on a school trip when their plane crashes on an island. This book take place around World War II so in the 1940s. The main character(s) in this book are Simon, Jack, Piggy, and Ralp. Simon is the most sensical one in this book. While others believe there is a beast on the island, he chooses not believe in what is not real. Jack is probably my least favorite, he killed Simon and Piggy, he also set the island on fire at the end of the book. He reminds me of Hitler almost. Piggy is kind of the outlier in the group. He has glasses and is overweight. He is kinda smart. Ralp is a leader. He leads one of the groups.

            The theme of this book is how many problems in our lives can cause us to go savage. As Jack was starting to accept his fate, it led him to kill and destroy. The fire was one of the main symbols and bad things he has done in this book because it destroyed all of the kid supplies that they obtained over timed and shows how much of leader he is being sarcastic. Most of the kids have no choice but to look up to Jack, that's why they believe what he does is right, and that they should follow in his footsteps. He claimed Simon was the beast, so he went and killed him.

Bulls Season Rant

            The Bulls honestly had a terrible season. For the second season in a row, they finished at the .500 spot. They finished at 41-41. In my opinion they should have finished with a way better record because they have a top 10 player in the league Jimmy Butler, HOF (Hall of Famer) Dwayne Wade, and good utility point guard Rajon Rando. There coach Fred Hoiberg is the worst coach in the league, THE WORST! He was supposedly going to be one of the best coaches in the league after being one of the top College coaches out there. Jimmy Butler can't win alone, so most likely this offseason the Bulls are going to have to rebuild their team, and guessing, trade Jimmy Butler to the Celtics since they are loaded with draft picks. One thing that was good about this season was that they came alive and went up 2-0 in the first round of the playoffs against the Celtics. Rajon Rondo was doing amazing and then he broke his thumb. This completely left the Bulls to dry and they ended up losing 4 games in a row to lose in the first round. If I were the Head of the Bulls organization, I would fire Hoiberg and trade Jimmy Butler.

Plans for Summer 2017

            This summer is probably going to go down as the busiest summer of my life. Every day is either going to be a baseball game, or I'm going to be at Fenwick. My plans are to study more of high school standards on every subject so I can be a step ahead of everybody else. One thing I'm also looking forward to is my baseball tournament in Pittsburgh. This is for my travel team, not my High School team. Being able to finally have the Freedom I have this year is amazing, I'm looking forward to continuing my future learning career at Fenwick and being able to thrive at a school a lot of famous people went to. It will also be pretty cool because my sister goes there and my dad went there. I am also hoping I'm able to win a state baseball championship at Fenwick, so it will require a lot of training this summer. It will be fun to retell how my high school experiences went and my summer.

Album Review: Beauty Behind The Madness by The Weeknd

            2 years ago in my opinion The Weeknd dropped there best album Beauty Behind The Madness. This song was probably more of a R&B based album with songs like Tell Your Friends, Can't Feel my Face, Often, and The Hills. Most of these songs were in the billboard top 100. The Weeknd is one of the best R&B singer and song writers of this generation alone. He also gave most of the beats to Drake in his album Take Care. Personally my favorite song in the album is The Hills, the best is very rhythmic and the words have a lot of meaning behind them. I give this album a 4/5 because it has soul and melody mixed in with meaning and great vocals. He explains his love and life story's in this album. Nowadays many albums are just a bunch of songs with no meaning, this album is like a book, every song is like a new chapter in a book.

Album review: Acid Rap by Chance the Rapper

            I will reviewing by far the best album (in my opinion) by Chance the Rapper called Acid Rap.  This is his second mixtape after 10 days. The leading hit song on this album is Favorite Song featuring Childish Gambino. This album mostly talks about his life story, and you can see this the most in Cocoa Butter Kisses. The chorus in this song goes, "Cigarettes on cigarettes, my mama think I stank I got burn holes in my hoodies, all my homies think it's dank I miss my cocoa butter kisses I miss my cocoa butter kisses Cigarettes on cigarettes, my mama think I stank I got burn holes in my hoodies, all my homies think it's dank I miss my cocoa butter kisses I miss my cocoa butter kisses" These lines clearly are well thought out because he is talking about how his past life wasn't so easy, and how is mama even see something different about him. Chance is a very original writer that and is a phenomenal lyricist. He is very explicit with his lyrics and shows how he deals with his struggles by going to drugs, and alcohol for help.
